Product introduction

The VE13 Hygienic Electromagnetic Flowmeter is a compact, small-bore magmeter designed for the measurement of electrically conductive liquids in applications where stainless-steel construction and easy-to-clean connections are required.

Operating on Faradayʼs law of electromagnetic induction, VE13 generates a magnetic field across the measuring tube. As conductive liquid passes through this field, an induced voltage proportional to flow velocity is picked up by electrodes and converted into volumetric flow.

With no moving or intrusive parts and an unobstructed bore, VE13 introduces virtually no additional pressure loss, and its measurement is largely independent of pressure, temperature, density and viscosity, provided the medium conductivity is within the specified range. A microprocessor-based converter with modern excitation technology ensures stable, repeatable performance even under demanding process conditions.
