Product introduction

The VE12 Series Electromagnetic Heat Meter is a high-stability flow sensor designed for thermal energy metering in heating and cooling systems.

Based on Faradayʼs law of electromagnetic induction, VE12 measures the volumetric flow of electrically conductive liquids such as hot water, chilled water or heat transfer fluids. With no moving parts and an unobstructed bore, the meter offers negligible pressure loss, long service life, and measurement that is largely independent of pressure, temperature, density and viscosity.

When combined with paired supply/return temperature sensors and a dedicated heat calculator, VE12 provides the flow measurement component of a complete thermal energy metering solution for district heating, building HVAC and industrial energy management.
