Product introduction

The SA80T Series Swirl Flowmeter operates based on the vortex precession principle. As fluid enters the flowmeter, it passes through a fixed swirl generator that imparts a rotational motion. This swirling flow subsequently develops into a secondary vortex precession downstream, whose frequency is directly proportional to the volumetric flow rate. The precession frequency is detected by a piezoelectric or capacitive sensor without contacting the process medium. This method enables precise, real-time flow measurement of clean or slightly contaminated liquids, gases, and saturated or superheated steam.

Provides stable and accurate flow readings with a typical accuracy of ±0.5% for liquids and ±1.0% for gases and steam, under calibrated conditions. Suitable for process control applications.
★ Wide Dynamic Range: 
Turndown ratio up to 1:20 depending on medium and installation conditions. Performs reliably in fluctuating or variable load systems.
★ No Moving Parts: 
Robust mechanical design without moving components reduces wear and extends service life, making it ideal for continuous operations.
★ Integrated Signal Processing: 
Built-in temperature and pressure compensation (optional) for mass or standard volume flow output. Available with analog (4-20 mA), pulse, HART, or Modbus RTU output.
★ Self-Diagnostics and Smart Configuration: 
Supports fault detection, zero drift monitoring, and remote configuration via digital protocols.
★ High Temperature and Pressure Resistance: 
Standard designs support up to 250°C and 4.0 MPa (optional: up to 400°C for steam with extended versions). Ideal for high-energy steam and thermal fluid systems.
★ Installation Optimization: 
Require minimum upstream and downstream straight pipe runs (typically 3D/1D), significantly less than vortex meters.
