Product introduction
  • The LDG Series Economy Electromagnetic Flowmeter is a cost-effective, general-purpose magmeter for electrically conductive liquids (≥5 μS/cm).

  • It consists of a sensor and a transmitter, and is suitable for water, wastewater, chemically aggressive media (acids and alkalis), as well as uniform liquid–solid two-phase fluids such as suspensions and pulp.

  • Based on Faradayʼs law of electromagnetic induction, the LDG generates a magnetic field across the measuring tube. As conductive liquid flows through this field, an induced voltage proportional to flow velocity is detected by electrodes and converted into volumetric flow.

  • With no moving parts, full-bore construction and no internal obstructions, LDG introduces negligible additional pressure loss, while its fully digital signal processing, pulse excitation and low-power electronics provide stable, repeatable measurement in everyday industrial applications.

  • Wastewater Treatment Plant Inlet Measurement

LDG installed on a DN600 inlet line provides stable flow data for plant loading control and regulatory reporting. The polyurethane or rubber lining and stainless electrodes are selected for abrasive, contaminated wastewater.

  • Cooling Water Monitoring in a General Industrial Plant

On DN200…DN400 cooling water circuits, LDG measures circulation and make-up flows, allowing operators to balance loads and optimise pump operation. RS485 Modbus links multiple meters to a central SCADA system.

  • Chemical Dosing and Transfer Lines

For conductive acids or alkalis on DN50…DN150 lines, LDG with PTFE/PFA lining and corrosion-resistant electrodes provides reliable flow feedback for dosing skids and transfer systems, as long as materials are verified against the specific chemicals.

  • Slurry Flow in Mining and Mineral Processing

LDG with abrasion-resistant lining is used on slurry pipelines to monitor feed and discharge flow rates, helping maintain process stability and mass balance in grinding, flotation or tailings circuits.
