Product introduction

The KSMF-S Series Coriolis Mass Flowmeters are high-precision straight-tube Coriolis meters for the measurement of liquids, gases and liquefied gases.

Two parallel measuring tubes are excited into controlled oscillation. When no fluid is flowing, the inlet and outlet signals are in phase. When flow occurs, Coriolis forces cause a differential phase shift between the inlet and outlet portions of the tubes. This time shift is directly proportional to mass flow, while the oscillation frequency is used to determine fluid density, and integrated sensors provide process temperature.

The straight dual-tube design offers low pressure loss, low shear and excellent cleanability, with no requirement for upstream or downstream straight pipe runs. Combined with a wide range of line sizes, pressure and temperature ratings, KSMFS covers applications from general process control to commercial metering across multiple industries.
