Product introduction

The SA80T-TP Series is the temperature and pressure compensated version of the SA80T swirl (vortex precession) flowmeter, designed for steam, compressed gases and energy metering applications.

Based on the same swirl generator and sensor design as the standard SA80T, the SA80T-TP integrates built-in temperature and pressure measurement. Using these inputs, the converter performs real-time density calculation and provides mass flow and standard volume flow outputs, in addition to conventional operating volumetric flow.

This makes SA80T-TP particularly suitable for saturated / superheated steam and compressed air / gas networks, where compensated flow values are required for process control, energy balance, and cost allocation. All calculations are based on configured media parameters and standard thermodynamic correlations, within the limits of the installed sensors and process conditions.
