Product introduction

The SA80T Series Swirl Flowmeter is a vortex precession (swirl) flow meter for the measurement of liquids, gases and saturated or superheated steam.

As the medium passes through a fixed swirl generator, it is forced into a rotating flow that develops a stable vortex precession downstream. The precession frequency is directly proportional to the volumetric flow rate and is detected by a non-intrusive piezoelectric sensor, without contact with the process medium.

This measuring principle provides accurate, real-time flow measurement over a wide operating range, making SA80T suitable for clean or slightly contaminated media in demanding process conditions.
