Looking Back at WOGE Xi’an 2024: A Starting Point for New Partnerships

VNER looks back at its participation in the World Oil and Gas Equipment Exhibition (WOGE) 2024 in Xi’an, where many of today’s cooperation projects first began.

Looking Back at WOGE 2024 in Xi’an

One year on, VNER looks back at the World Oil and Gas Equipment Exhibition (WOGE) 2024 in Xi’an as an important milestone.

For VNER, WOGE was not only a platform to present flow meters, but also the starting point of several partnerships that have since developed into deeper.

Showcasing Core Flow Meter Technologies

At WOGE 2024, VNER showcased its core industrial flow metering portfolio, including:

  • vortex and swirl flow meters for gas and steam;
  • electromagnetic flow meters for water, wastewater and process liquids;

These displays allowed visitors from different countries and regions to get a first impression of VNER’s capabilities in process flow measuremen.

From First Conversations to Ongoing Cooperation

Many of the discussions that started at WOGE 2024 have since grown into:

  • factory visits and technical exchanges in China;
  • joint evaluation of applications in oil & gas, chemical and water-related projects;
  • long-term cooperation frameworks with overseas partners.

Looking back, the conversations at WOGE were often the “first chapter” of cooperation stories that are still being written today.

A Small Coincidence on the Road

One interesting story linked WOGE Xi’an and the OSEA exhibition in Singapore.

At WOGE 2024 in Xi’an, VNER met a technical team from a major oil & gas joint venture in the Gulf region. The discussion at that

time was brief but very focused on process measurement needs and future project possibilities.

One month later, at the OSEA exhibition in Singapore, the two teams met again by coincidence in the exhibition hall.

What started as a short technical conversation in Xi’an naturally continued in Singapore, turning a chance encounter into a deeper exchange on flow metering solutions for their projects in the Gulf region.

This kind of “small coincidence” is a good reminder that exhibitions are not only about products and booths, but also about building long-term connections across different countries and events.

Continuing the Journey

As VNER participates in more exhibitions in the Middle East, Europe and Asia, WOGE 2024 in Xi’an remains a meaningful starting point in this journey.

VNER will continue to use international exhibitions to meet new partners, share technical capabilities and build reliable, long-term relationships in the global flow measurement market.
