Product introduction

The LWGY Series Liquid Turbine Flowmeter is a compact, high-accuracy flow meter designed for clean, lowviscosity liquids. It converts flow velocity into turbine rotation: as the liquid passes through a flow straightener and over the turbine rotor, the rotor speed becomes proportional to the volumetric flow rate. A pickup sensor detects the passing blades and generates a pulse signal whose frequency is directly proportional to flow.

With simple construction, low weight, fast response and excellent repeatability, LWGY is well-suited for batching, dispensing and general-purpose liquid metering in industrial and commercial systems. Robust mechanical design and high-pressure capability make it suitable for a broad range of applications where the medium is relatively clean and free of large particles or fibrous content.

Product parameters

LWGY is intended for clean, non-fouling liquids. For slurries or high-solid media, electromagnetic or Coriolis meters are usually more appropriate.
